Shoug Fardan is an Emirati fashion designer born in Dubai in 1993. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design in 2017. 

In her senior year at Parsons, Shoug created an all gender collection reflecting on old photographs of her grandmother in the early 70's (taken in Dubai), deconstructing and reconstructing traditions, and creating individuality within an existing society. Shoug fuses feminine and masculine energy to challenge gender norms. She feminizes masculinity or softens masculinity through silhouettes. 
Exploring more into art and expressing through art and design. Shoug collaborated with artist Fatma Juma (who is Shoug's aunt), to create soft sculpture wearable pieces.

Shoug is a member of the Dubai Design and Fashion Council
